Alex Huriega
Founder & Managing Partner
Alex co-founded New Covenant Energy Partners and leads acquisition strategy, underwriting, and capital structuring. Prior to NCEP, he served as a Senior Consultant at Millennium Petrocapital, where he focused on capital formation and structuring private oil and gas drilling and lease acquisition opportunities. His work involved investor sourcing, transaction economics development, and coordination with operating partners across upstream ventures.
Alex leads acquisition strategy, capital structuring, and investor relations for New Covenant Energy Partners. His background includes corporate development, capital formation, and structuring private energy transactions.
Alex also oversees opportunity evaluation, financial modeling, transaction design, and capital alignment.
Josh Trevino
Founder & Managing Partner
Josh co-founded New Covenant Energy Partners and leads investor relations, capital partnerships, and transaction execution oversight.
Previously, he served as Vice President of Investor Relations at Millennium Petrocapital, where he managed investor relationships and capital raising initiatives across private energy offerings. His role included direct investor engagement, transaction communication, and coordination between capital providers and operating partners.
Josh focuses on transaction execution, operator coordination, and asset-level oversight. His background includes field exposure, operational coordination, and structured deal implementation.
He works closely with operating partners to ensure capital deployment aligns with underwriting assumptions and execution milestones. Josh oversees operational tracking, performance visibility, and execution accountability.
